Innovative Medical Record Retrieval Company Purchases Leading Consumer-Directed Healthcare and Records Portal, One of Four Vendors Selected by Obama Administration for Medicare Pilot Program

(www.mediconnect.net) today announced the acquisition of PassportMD, Inc., (www.passportmd.com) a consumer-directed healthcare information company with innovative software for creating and maintaining personal health records. PassportMD has been selected by the Obama Administration to provide electronic personal health records for Medicare beneficiaries and is one of only four vendors chosen to participate in the pilot program.
