MEDICONNECT ANNOUNCES NEW RAPIDRETRIEVE FEATURES; ENHANCES WEB BASED MEDICAL RECORDS RETRIEVAL
New Advanced Sorting Options, Record Review, and Policy Validation Added
SALT LAKE CITY, UT, February 6, 2008 — MediConnect Global, Inc. (www.mediconnect.net) today announced it will be roll out new enhancements over the next several weeks of its RapidRetrieve online medical records retrieval and digitization system beginning today with Full Chronological Sorting. (www.mediconnect.net/rapidretrieve.asp) Other enhancements provide automated ordering of comprehensive medical record reviews, and validate proper life insurance policy numbers.
New enhanced features include:
- Full Chronological Sorting—With Chronological Sorting records can be chronologically sorted in ascending or descending order. Previously, limited chronological sorting was available as part of the indexing option by category.
- Medical Record Review—Medical records can be reviewed by physicians, nurses, or legal nurse consultants who provide customized summaries of provider care and treatment or a compilation of billing records.
- Policy Number Validation—New life insurance policies can be delayed if carriers receive APS requests with the policy number in the wrong format. MediConnect Global’s new Policy Number Validation feature assures the proper policy number format is used by a broker general agent when ordering a formal request from a life insurance carrier.
