MEDICONNECT PARTICIPATES IN 2008 NATIONAL HEALTH SUMMIT
SALT LAKE CITY, UT, November 10, 2008 — MediConnect CEO, Amy Rees Anderson, was invited to participate with U.S. Secretary of Health, Michael Leavitt, in the 2008 National Summit on Personalized Health Care. The Summit brings together leading stakeholders from key sectors related to the development and utilization of personalized health care. Leaders came together to discuss and create a shared vision on personalized healthcare, and to identify the barriers, strategies, and action plans for making it a living reality.

The National Summit was an exclusive 3 day conference that was held in Park City, Utah. Its participants were composed of highly influential decisions makers and MediConnect’s Anderson joined officials, such as Secretary Michael Leavitt, Governor Jon Huntsman Jr., Senator Orrin Hatch, Senator Robert Bennet, and Professor Clayton Christensen, a professor from the Harvard Business School, among other industry leaders and representatives from major universities such as Duke, Georgetown, and the University of Utah.
