MediConnect Global understands the importance of retrieving large volumes of medical records in a short period of time to meet specific deadlines, such as those set for RADV and OIG audits. Our RapidRetrieve system allows us to create specific retrieval and follow-up parameters to insure that all of the requested records are retrieved and delivered in order to meet these deadlines.| Step 1: The Home Page The RapidRetrieve home page is remarkably user-friendly. In fact, you can learn to use the whole system in less than 15 minutes. Selecting “Request Records” guides you step-by-step through the ordering process. You’ll have access to a comprehensive database of over one million physicians and hospitals nationwide to help find the correct facility. |

| Step 2: Track Progress The summary page allows you to instantly check the status of your record requests online; they are conveniently organized by categories based on the level of progress. As soon as requests enter RapidRetrieve, providers are immediately contacted to begin coordinating the retrieval process. |

| Read detailed information for every category simply clicking on the desired Status/Group link. You can add columns to view more information, or just “mouse-over” each request for the latest agent notes to appear in a pop-up window. |  |

| Real time notes from agents document in detail all activity for each request. Have a question or need to make a change to a request? Enter a note in RapidRetrieve and an agent will promptly respond. |  |

| Step 3: Download Digitized Records When MediConnect receives a copy of the requested record, all records are converted into a digital format and associated to the record request in RapidRetrieve. An email alert notifies you that your records are ready to access. You then download your digital copies of records directly through RapidRetrieve. |

Records are available in industry standard formats such as PDF or TIFF files making them easy to share, organize and store. Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology can be applied, which allows you to search for specific text within the digital record.
Integrate with Your Software
MediConnect also offers an electronic data interface that allows you to integrate all these capabilities into your existing systems or claims management software. This gives you the option of ordering, tracking and downloading medical records through your existing system - without re-entry into multiple applications.
Online Billing
Through RapidRetrieve you can quickly check the status of your most current paid and non-paid invoices with the Online Billing feature. Simply point and click to download CVS files (for use in Excel spreadsheets) of detailed billing information. You can view as much or as little information as you want by selecting an overall summary, detail by individual, detail by line or detail by request ID.
