Description: Provider or copy service signature on a prepared statement certifying that the
complete set of patient records was released to MediConnect. In addition, if no records are
available for the requested dates of service, the provider or copy service will certify there
are no records. |
Electronic Page / Bates Stamping
Description: Page numbering included electronically on the retrieved medical record. Can be
customized in your account preferences, provider's name and patient's name can also be
included. |
Indexing
Description: Categorical ordering of retrieved record(s) with hyperlinked table of contents.
Categories are customizable. Examples include: doctors notes, nurses notes, pharmacy,
emergency room, labs, etc. |
Chrono Sorting
Description: Chronological ordering of the retrieved record(s) for a case. |
Record Reviews / Summaries
Description: Physicians, nurses, or legal nurse consultants review the medical record(s) and
provide customized summaries / reports. Several report options exist depending on your
preferences and needs, including multiple one or two-page snap shots summaries, or more
comprehensive analyses. |
Data Coding
Description: Scanning all the firms' documents (not just medical records) then identifying
and coding segments of text within each document which enables the client to store all their
documents in queriable databases. |
Provider Search
Description: Incoming medical records are reviewed to identify "missing providers / doctors"
from which other medical records need to be retrieved to help build or defend cases |
Record Inspection – Medical / Billing Record
Description: Reviewing the received medical / billing record to ensure that the facility sent
all of the records that were requested by the firm. |
Delivery of Paper Copy
Description: Printed hard copy of medical record delivered to the requestor. |
Searchable Text
Description: Convert scanned images of records into searchable text using Optical Character
Recognition (OCR) technology. You can use Adobe Acrobat Reader to rapidly search the
scanned records for names, dates, keywords, or any other text or data, thus helping you find
key information more quickly and thoroughly. The original image of the record is preserved,
and the words are highlighted where they appear on the page when you do a search. |
